International Summer School is for students from around the world. The school provides a unique opportunity to sample life at a leading UK Independent School, improve English skills and make friends for life.
Our academic camp is for Junior (7-12) and Senior (13-17) students. Juniors enjoy a selection of camp activities with native speaking children from the local area alongside a minimum of 10 hours English learning per week. Whereas Seniors choose between four innovative election modules alongside a minimum of 10 hours English learning per week. The modules students can choose from are: Explore (Science, History, Geography, Maths, Cultural Studies), Innovate (Business, Marketing, Technology, Computing), Create (Art, Photography, Media, Theatre, Music, Design) or Move (Sport, Wellbeing, Fitness).
Morning and evenings are jam-packed with fun activities or wellbeing sessions. Students can start the day with activities, such as yoga, crafts or mindfulness and finish the day with music sessions, team games, board games, swimming, badminton, yoga or baking. Our varied and exciting entertainment programme also includes outdoor theatre productions, cinema experiences, sports tournaments, and themed nights to help students wind down before settling into their comfortable boarding accommodation.
Included in the price are day trips to famous English cities, an overnight stay in London and an overnight stay at an activity centre which includes outdoor activities and water-based fun!
Accommodation
QE is a boarding school throughout the year and staff are highly skilled in offering students from around the globe the highest quality of care.
Our accommodation is spacious, comfortable and modern. There are common rooms and leisure spaces where students are encouraged to relax and recharge whilst having the opportunity to socialise with others.
All meals are included and students have access to our amazing activity centre and all the sports faciltiies which includes a fitness suite, swimming pool, table tennis, video consoles, a fast food outlet, and an entertainment suite.

The Junior programme includes a variety of activities organised through Camp QE (qe.org/campqe). These activities include (but are not limited to), Capture the Flag, competitive sport days, scavenger hunts, assault courses, pool parties, Zumba, tie-dying t-shirts, baking, pizza making, drawing, painting and giant Jenga.
For the Senior programme, our International Summer School offers discos, pool parties, arts and crafts, film nights, yoga, mindfulness, specialist wellbeing workshops, music sessions, team games, board games, badminton, baking, drama, theatre productions, sports tournaments and themed nights.

All the teachers and members of staff here are very kind and reasonable. They’re very warm and nice especially Jason, Sam, George. The basketball court is high-quality. I wanted to spend all week at the court.
I really enjoyed this summer camp, it was a very good experience, very different. I learned a lot of things and I loved making new friends. I hope I have the opportunity to come back next year!
